I believe my mother’s cases was purchased in the late 1980’s and my fathers, the red one, about 4 years later, in 1993.(see Carlton sticker on side of case – it refers to winning an award in Nov 1992). Both cases have been around the world several times visiting the following countries and travelling extensively within these. As part of their travels the cases have been to the most northern point of Canada, The most southern point of Chile, on the world highest railway, Beijing to Lassa, on the bullet train in Japan and to Everest Base Camp. (Also attached is a picture of the cases in the tent at Everest and a couple of pictures of the tents with Everest in the background). In the very near future the cases  will again be travelling this time to Russia.

Needless to say we have been very pleased with the performance of the Carlton cases and subsequently bought 4 more, one for my wife, two for my daughter (don’t ask why she needs two), and one for myself.
